About

Made with intention. Found with curiosity. Gone with purpose.

MAKE. FIND. GO. is a lifestyle editorial for people who cook real food, buy things that last, and go places worth remembering.

A warm workspace with notebook and coffee — the spirit behind MAKE. FIND. GO.

The person behind it

Hi, I'm Brandon.

I started MAKE. FIND. GO. because I kept finding myself frustrated by the same thing: content that was either too precious or too shallow. Recipe sites that buried the recipe. Gear roundups that recommended everything. Travel guides that sent you somewhere everyone else already was.

This site is my attempt at something more honest. I write about the food I actually cook, the things I actually use, and the places I actually go. No sponsored fluff. No affiliate-driven rankings. Just the stuff that earns a place in the rotation.

I live in the Midwest, which means I have strong opinions about pie crust, a deep appreciation for a good road trip, and a golden retriever named Biscuit who has opinions about everything.

What we cover

Three sections. One point of view.

MAKE.

Cook real food.

Recipes that work on a weeknight. Techniques worth learning. The kind of cooking that makes your kitchen smell like something.

FIND.

Buy things that last.

Gear, tools, and kitchen equipment that earns its place. Researched picks with honest verdicts — not everything, just the good stuff.

GO.

Go somewhere worth it.

Weekend drives, small-town diners, independent hotels and the kind of trips you actually remember. Skip the obvious. Find the better version.

What this site is — and isn't.

Honest recommendations.

If something makes the site, it's because it earned it. Not because someone paid for placement.

Real experience.

Everything here has been cooked, used, or visited. No armchair recommendations.

Fewer, better things.

The goal is never to be comprehensive. It's to be useful. One great pie crust recipe beats fifteen mediocre ones.

No noise.

No slideshows. No autoplay video. No "Jump to Recipe" because the recipe is just there.
